About Marie Brikha, DMD
Dr. Marie Brikha grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago where she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Sciences. She continued her professional education at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Brikha was awarded the Bisco Award for Restorative Dentistry, rewarded to the student demonstrating exceptional knowledge and proficiency in restorative dentistry and dental materials. Dr. Brikha was trained in a variety of dental services including Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry, Digital Dentistry, Invisalign treatment, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral surgery, and Pediatrics. During her time at the UIC College of Dentistry, she was selected for a position in the Pediatric Advanced Specialization Track where she gained further training in the field of pediatrics along with nitrous sedation, and served as a preclinical pediatric instructor for the underclassmen. Dr. Brikha served her community by rotating at the Asian Human Services Clinic and The Children’s Clinic in Oak Park where dental services were provided to underserved immigrants, refugees, and children. She was selected amongst her colleagues to complete a 6 week program in Colorado where she demonstrated her clinical abilities serving Hispanic migrant Farm workers. Dr. Brikha served as an active member of the American Association of Women in Dentistry, American Student Dental Association, Predoctoral Implant Program, dental volunteer at Goldies Place For The Homeless, Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity, and Hispanic Student Dental Society. Outside of the office, Dr. Brikha enjoys spending time with mom and two sisters, weightlifting, baking sweet treats, reading, and traveling. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Assyrian.
