About Margaux Grason, DMD
Dr. Margaux Grason is passionate about health and medicine, and improving her patients’ lives through her work. She received her undergraduate degree at University of Florida in Nutrition and also her doctorate in general dentistry. Dr. Margaux decided to go through a General Practice Residency at University of Chicago and UIC, which is how she came to Chicago and fell in love with the city. The residency gave her experience working with special needs patients with complex medical histories. Dr. Margaux decided to work as an associate at multiple practices in Chicago and in some of the close suburbs for the past twelve years. This enabled her to not only develop her skills as a general dentist, but to also mold exactly what was important to her to have in her own practice. This also gave her the opportunity to hone in on what she felt was missing in some of these other offices. During this time she had two children-Marlowe age 7, and Gage age 5. They recently started school in the area at Catherine Cook. One of the reasons Dr. Margaux went into dentistry is because it is a profession that enables her to balance work and family. Dr. Margaux founded Sweet Tooth because she is passionate about what she does and wanted to create a place where not only the patients were taken care of and happy, but the staff as well. She believes in treating people like she would want to be treated, which sounds simple, but doesn’t happen a lot. Dr. Margaux also believes that there is no reason you can’t have fun while doing what you love. On her off time, Dr. Margaux loves to hang out with her kids, go to the movies, run and travel.
