About Maggie Dao, Aesthetician Specialist
Maggie prides herself in providing the highest standard of patient care. She joined the Bellaire Dermatology team as a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over 17 years of experience in the industry. She aims to educate every individual on the best treatment and recommend a regimen tailored to fit their skin care needs and desired result. She received her certification from Mai-Trix Beauty College in 2008. Maggie also holds certifications and has been trained in laser technology, body contouring, eyebrow Microblading, paramedical and permanent cosmetics. She has experience performing Hydrafacials, photo rejuvenation, CoolSculpt, Ultherapy, SkinPen and PRP microneedling. Prior to joining Bellaire Dermatology, she worked with a group of plastic and reconstructive surgeons at the Baylor College of Medicine where she discovered her passion for the aesthetic industry. She then moved on to The Institute for Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital performing countless 3D Nipple and Areola Micropigmentation procedures for patients post breast reconstruction surgery for 10 years. Most recently, Maggie became the first Medical Aesthetician at MD Anderson delegated to care for patients post breast reconstruction surgery. She performed 3D and traditional areola Micropigmentation after recovery. Her main goal is to create a feeling of rest and relaxation with a treatment plan that yields the best results for patients during visits. She is always looking for ways to continue her education with the latest knowledge, training, and skills for specialized treatments. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys trying new foods, traveling, and exploring different cultures with her family and close friends. Time with her “sweet, smart and very vocal” Chug, half Chihuahua half Pug, is also a favorite hobby. She has recently taken up learning to play the ukulele, and is always up for a good karaoke session.
