About Luis Sanchez, DMD
Dr. Sanchez graduated from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1996. He has received advanced education in IV sedation from Dr. John A. Yagiela, chair of the Division of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences at UCLA, a worldwide authority on sedation. He has also participated in curriculums at the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Education. For years he was the area Research Coordinator for Colgate Pharmaceutical. He has lectured at local hospitals about the role of dentists in treating sleep disorders. He has had articles published in the American Journal of Dentistry, Journal of the American Association of Dental Schools, and the Miami Herald. He is a past president of the Florida Hispanic Dental Association and a past member of the Board of Trustees at the National Hispanic Dental Association. He is a current member of the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
