About Lori B. Babineau, DMD
Dr. Lori Babineau is very passionate about dentistry and is dedicated to insuring that every patient has a comfortable and relaxing experience. She believes in fully educating her patients about their conditions, and she designs treatment plans to meet each individual’s needs. Dr. Lori is a mother of three, and brings that nurturing, caring spirit to her dental work. She is known for her warmth, friendliness and the personalized, professional care she gives each and every patient. A native Texan, Dr. Lori was born and raised in Amarillo. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. After graduating from UT with her BA in Biology, Dr. Lori had the opportunity to move to Boston to attend dental school, and there she met her future husband, Dr. John Babineau. She graduated with her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and while the experience of living in Boston was exhilarating both academically and culturally, Dr. Lori was anxious to get back to her sunny home of Texas. She and Dr. John established their practice in Austin in the early nineties and have been practicing together ever since. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Lori has continued to hone her dental and communication skills through advanced coursework at the prestigious Hornbrook Group and Dental Boot Kamp Masters program. She has had extensive and varied continued education in Cosmetic Dentistry procedures, with an emphasis on porcelain restorations, veneers and implants. Dr. Lori especially enjoys doing more conservative, bonded porcelain restorations, as well as cosmetic full coverage porcelain restorations that are fabricated in their office with an E4D CAD/CAM scanning and milling machine. She considers every restoration to be a tiny work of art. Dr. Lori has received certification from Invisalign® for straightening teeth with clear aligners and from Lumineers for no preparation veneers. Dr. Lori is busy with her three very active children – Johnathan, Carlyn Claire and Sommerlyn. They enjoy dance, gymnastics, Scouts and soccer. Together with her daughters, Dr. Lori participates in the National Charity League and the many varied philanthropies that they support. She and Dr. John enjoy snow skiing, biking and hiking. They especially enjoy traveling to exciting new places with their family.
