About Lisa L. Aprea, Aesthetician Specialist
My name is Lisa Aprea. I am the Owner/Aesthetician of Swept Away Spa in Monroe. I opened the spa in 2011 when I changed careers to do what I Love , skincare and helping people. My passion for skincare started at a young age, when I was in the 6th grade I started with the normal preteen acne. As I got older it became progressively worse. I was on antibiotic after antibiotic destroying my stomach. Nobody ever talked to me about my routine, what I ate, or about constantly touching my hands to my face. It just was more prescriptions. One day the doctor prescribed much stronger medication, and I immediately said, ""NO MORE MEDICATIONS!"" We found a new doctor who had a Medical Aesthetician on staff who changed everything for me, and sparked my love for skincare. I later became a Lancôme counter manager where I learned I Love to help people feel great about themselves and continued learning about skincare. Later in my life I became a Customer Service Training Manager which further developed my philosophy about customer service and helping others. When I turned 40 it was time to make my passion a reality.. I went to school to become a Certified Aesthetician. I graduated from Brio Academy. Immediately after graduating I was given an opportunity to work in a Medical Spa as an Aesthetician, performing chemical peels, microdermabrasion, assisting with laser and additional procedures. At that time I started Swept Away Spa. A place for people to come to relax, to feel beautiful and to Love their skin! I offer a High Quality Medical grade skincare system which provides exceptional results, a place where you can unwind and relax while taking care of your largest organ, your skin. Our skin is always changing, this is why I believe in providing individualized treatment plans to meet each clients needs, while Sweeping you Away!
