About Lillian M. Conner, DDS
With over 20 years of experience, Dr Conner’s knowledge of Dentistry, compassion for patients, gentle touch and professionalism make her an exceptional Dentist. Dr. Conner, a native of West Virginia, attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology.She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After Dental School, Dr. Conner entered the US Army as a Captain in the Dental Corp.While there she served on numerous operations in many countries to include Korea, Honduras and most recently as chief of Dental Operations in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. She has received numerous medals and awards for meritorious service, to include the Humanitarian Service award for providing Dental Care in underserved areas in Honduras and for serving during the Haitian/Cuban refugee crisis.As a member of the North Carolina National Guard, she recently went to the country of Moldova where she worked closely with faculty members and students of the Moldovan School of Dentistry providing preventive dental care to several orphanages located around the country. Dr Conner strives for excellence in all that she does and believes in treating her patients with the utmost care and expertise. She has received many hours of continuing education to stay at the forefront of advancing dental science to include General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Pathology, Invisalign Certification, and Oral Surgery. She is a member of numerous professional associations to include the American Dental Association, the National Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Old North State Medical/ Dental Society, and the Charlotte Medical/ Dental Society. She is also a member of the Charlotte Flute Choir and a Colonel in the North Carolina National Guard. She is an active member of her church where she sings on the choir and serves as a tutor in the education program. Dr. Conner is an avid biker and has participated in the bike rally to support Multiple Schlerosis.She believes in giving back to the community and routinely provides free care at the Charlotte Mens’ shelter, and the Baptist Dental van. She also supports the ‘Give a Kid a Smile’ program, which provides free dental care to underprivileged children.
