About Lewis May, MD
I became a physician because I enjoy helping people. Practicing dermatology allows me to see an interesting variety of problems in different age groups and perform multiple procedures that I enjoy. We practice medicine at Kaiser Permanente in what I believe is the best way possible, because our focus is on the patients' health and not their wallets. Working at Kaiser Permanente allows me to view each patient as a person, as I can focus on each individual's problems and needs, instead of the person's health plan coverage or payment system. I am blessed to work for Kaiser Permanente and feel that the focus we have on the patients' needs provides for better health care.
