About Lawrence S. Rivkin
Has been in private practice in dermatology in Beverly Hills, CA since 1976, offering general dermatology, including skin cancer, dermatopathology, and with a special interest in cosmetic dermatology. The cosmetic dermatology includes an expertise in injectables such as Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse ; extensive experience with use of various lasers, such as IPL for sun damaged skin, Pulse-Dye Laser for blood vessels, Light-Sheer Laser for hair removal, PDT for precancerous skin changes; and the use of various types of light to medium depth chemicals peels to enhance skin quality. Dr. Rivkin is board certified in dermatology as well as dermatolopathology. He is a graduate of Union College in New York and The University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing his internship at the University of Wisconsin Medical Center he spent the next two years as a captain in the US Air Force Medical Corps during the Vietnam War. He then came to California for his residency at Wadsworth VA/UCLA Medical Center. He was chief resident during his last year of residency.
