About Kristina D. Rosa, MD
Kristina Dela Rosa, M.D., a board certified dermatologist, has been practicing dermatology in San Diego since 2013. Calling San Diego her home town, she graduated cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to receive her medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and served 11 years active duty in the United States Navy. She completed an Internal Medicine internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Dr. Dela Rosa then completed flight surgery training in Pensacola, Florida. She spent 4 years caring for aviators and support personnel. She completed her dermatology training at Naval Medical Center San Diego, and she treated patients at Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton for four years being the sole Dermatologist assigned there. Dr. Dela Rosa specializes in medical dermatology for all ages, surgical treatment of skin cancer, and various cosmetic procedures and laser therapy. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association. In her free time, Dr. Dela Rosa enjoys spending time with her son. She enjoys cooking, exercising, and being in the company of family and friends.
