About Kristen Mcbride, DDS
I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. After finishing college at Texas A&M University with a degree in Accounting, I started my dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. From the city’s friendly feel to the school’s roots, I knew it was a great match. I gained my D.D.S. in 2010. I graduated with honors in research and continued on to complete a 2 year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. My residency allows me to provide my patients with an extra level of training and comfort. Part of the residency program allowed me to get my certification for Moderate Sedation (oral and IV) as well as additional training in implant placement. By completing a 2 year residency, I was able to work with complex patients and see them to completion. I recently completed training for Six Month Smiles and am looking forward to helping our patients achieve the straight, healthy teeth they desire with this program. Dr. Little and I met in 2012 and were able to start practicing together in 2013. I feel very blessed to be a member of such an outstanding practice and look forward to treating you and your family. I am committed to continuing my education in order to maintain the highest quality of care. I am a past president of the San Antonio chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry and I received my fellowship for over 500 hours continuing education hours in 2015. My husband Richard and I were married in March of 2013, and we welcomed our sweet baby boy in June 2016. In my spare time, I love reading, movies, puzzles, anything Disney, and watching my beloved Cubs and Texas A&M Aggies.
