About Koushyar Keyhan, DDS
Dr. K. Keyhan has over a decade of clinical experience in dentistry. He graduated in 1998 from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Subsequently, he completed a 2 year General Practice Residency (GPR) program in New York at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an affiliate of Cornell University. In the year 2000 he moved to California and entered into private practice in San Jose. He has been a clinical instructor at UCSF School of Dentistry since 2003. Dr. Keyhan is an active member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Santa Clara Dental Society (SCDS), American Society of Dental Anesthesiology (ADSA), and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He is truly passionate about dentistry and keeps abreast of new technology and development in the field by taking numerous continuing education classes throughout the year. His areas of special interest are Dental implants, Esthetic Dentistry, and Full mouth restoration. Dr. Keyhan treats his patients just like his own family members. His attention to details makes him perform every procedure with the highest degree of precision and care. During his spare time, Dr. Keyhan enjoys swimming, soccer, and reading. He loves to travel and learn about new cultures. He speaks French, Spanish, and Farsi. He is also involved in a variety of charitable organizations, and actively participates in many fundraising events for the American Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Currently, Dr. Keyhan is enrolled in a 10 month long Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry, called the LLU/AAID Maxicourse at Loma Linda University in Southern California. This comprehensive program covers all aspects of implant surgical procedures & prepares the participant to take the American Association of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Associate Fellow Membership Examination.
