About Konstantina Syrrakou, DDS
For Doctor Syrrakou, receiving her Dental Degree from the University of Athens in 2009 seemed to be the most natural thing to do, since she was practically born and raised in a Dental Office (her father, is a General Dentist and her aunt, is a Pediatric Dentist)! After 3 years of private practice and academia in the University of Athens, Dr. Syrrakou decided to expand her skills and knowledge and completed the two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in the University of Rochester in New York. She then graduated as a Chief Resident in 2016 with Honors of Appreciation from the General Practice Residency in the Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Her main goal is to combine clinical practice and evidence-based dentistry with Continued Education Seminars, in order to educate her patients and provide them with best possible treatment using state-of-the-art modern technology. Dr. Syrrakou has also been actively involved in community activities for the past 10 years. Special Olympics and Oral Health Workshops with New York County Dental Society to name a few, she has demonstrated a deep care for the local community, the underserved and the ones in need. She has presented various dental topics in numerous national as well as international seminars and she has a scientific article publication in the European Journal of Dental Science. She is a certified Invisalign provider, making people feel better, one smile at a time! She is also proficient in Greek and Spanish setting good communication with her patients her priority In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling and even dabbles in photography. Her latest passion is aquaponics!.
