About Kevin I. Perman, MD
Dr. Kevin Perman is an oculofacial plastic surgeon with over 35 years of surgical experience in the greater Washington D.C. area, who is a recognized authority in the management of both aesthetic and reconstructive problems, dealing with eyelids, brows, tear drainage system, orbit, and surrounding facial structures. Dr. Perman completed his advanced oculofacial plastic and orbital training at the UCLA Medical Center, Jules Stein Institute, mentored by the founding chief of the Oculofacial Division, Dr. Henry Baylis. Together, they co-founded the Journal of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which is the official journal of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). The society is the certifying body of the specialty, which has only approximately 600 certified members worldwide.
