About Kenneth A. Johnson, DDS
Dr. Johnson, a native Chicagoan, was raised in the culturally rich Andersonville neighborhood. Dr. “J” was selected to attend Lane Technical High School (one of Chicago’s original Magnet schools) where he developed some of the skills he parleyed into his “MacGyver-like” dental abilities. Undergraduate studies at Loyola University prepared him well for the rigors of the University of Illinois Dental School. Dr. “J” and his wife Dr. Pappas have one daughter who is currently enrolled in a pre-med curriculum at Northwestern University. Supporting her junior elite triathlon team in competitions across the country has limited Dr. “J’s” participation in his favorite sport — auto racing. Dr. Tooth (his racing nickname) participated at many Midwest dirt and asphalt race tracks. Currently, Dr. Johnson maintains memberships in the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
