About Katie Smith, Aesthetician Specialist
Owner and Licensed Esthetician, Katie Smith has been passionate about making people feel their best from a young age. She graduated with her BA in Psychology at San Diego State University in 2014 and later found her calling with esthetics. She started as a Spa Coordinator in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the spa atmosphere. She studied at Bellus Academy in Poway and learned advanced techniques from her mentor Alexis K. Ayala of Alexis K in Solana Beach. Her unique background allows her to integrate functions of the mind, body, soul and skin to create a unique experience in each of her services. Katie has trained in a wide variety of beauty and wellness practices, specializing in brow artistry and customized skincare, while continuing to learn and gain experience in the field of holistic esthetics. She recently became a certified Reiki Practitioner and enjoys incorporating this healing energy work into her treatments. Her goal is to help people let their inner beauty shine through!
