About Katharine Jones, DDS
Dr. Jones is a true blue Californian having lived in both the Northern and Southern areas. She decided to become a dentist when she noticed that people smiled more when their teeth were healthy and looked fabulous. Originally from Los Angeles, she moved to the University of California at Davis to study Biological Sciences. She furthered her education at the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry getting both a degree in Dental Sciences and a doctorate in Dental Surgery. She is an Alumni member of Delta Sigma Delta Professional Fraternity. She has been recently appointed as a faculty member of the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry. Throughout her program she was very active as in bettering the profession through serving as Class President for several years and on numerous committees. For several years, she was the recipient of the Fleming Award given to the most humanitarian person. She has been in private practice for 20 years and has been serving the Belmont community. She received acknowledgment in Aesthetic Dentistry through the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum Program for her dedication to excellence in the art and science of Aesthetic Dentistry. She led her team in the Fortune Practice Program for increasing the optimal care and quality of life of her clients. She actively participates with Flying Doctors, an organization that contributing dental equipment and supplies to needy and remote areas. She has reached many clients with her special smile, her devoted attention and care. Outside the office, Dr. Jones loves to spend time with her dog hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
