About Kalpana R. Konda, MD
Dr. Konda is board-certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her bachelor of science degree cum laude from Ohio State University and was awarded her medical degree by the OSU College of Medicine. After completing her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, she went on to complete a fellowship in dermatopathology at the prestigious Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology. Dr. Konda was previously a dermatologist with Mecklenburg Medical Group in Charlotte, NC. Her professional affiliations include the Dermatological Society of Greater New York, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Society for Investigative Dermatology. Dr. Konda has published and presented her work at numerous national dermatology meetings.
