About Joshua Austein, DMD
My passion for dentistry stemmed from my own early dental experiences. I obtained my B.S. in Biology as a Presidential Scholar from the University at Albany. After graduating with honors, Magna Cum Laude, I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where I was President of my graduating class. I was selected to be a member of Gamma Pi Delta, a Prosthodontic Honor Society and graduated with Dean's list recognition. I completed a General Practice Residency from Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), where I am still a volunteer dental attending for the current dental residents. I have completed an additional postgraduate residency in dental implantology and I am a certified 1 and 2 Invisalign dental provider. Dentistry is not only what I do professional, but it is something I deeply care about. I participate in organized dentistry both nationally and locally. I do so with membership in the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and Associate Fellow of the New York Academy of Dentistry, member of Spear Education, Ridgewood Valley Study Club, Ridgewood Young Professional Exchange, and executive board member and Past President of the Bergen County Dental Society
