About Joseph N. Tseng, DDS
Dr. Joseph Tseng lived in the southeast Michigan area most his life. He went to high school at Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for undergraduate work. After receiving his B.S. degree, Dr. Joseph Tseng studied at the University of Detroit Dental School. After graduating from dental school, he served in the Navy as a dental officer. He was stationed at the Naval Station on the island of Guam and at the Marine Corp base at Camp Pendleton in California. He gained valuable dental experience while in the Navy, where he had the opportunity to rotate through many of the dental specialty departments. After discharge from the Navy, Dr. Joseph Tseng returned to the Wayne-Westland area and opened a dental practice on Wayne Rd., where he is today. He has been active with the Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society, Westland Chamber of Commerce and the Westland Rotary Club, where he served on the board in different capacities. He is a past president of the Westland Rotary Club. As a Rotarian, he enjoyed doing charitable work and serving the people in his local community. Dr. Joseph Tseng is married. He and his wife Terry has one daughter. His hobbies include golf, photography, scuba diving and ice hockey. He has been involved with the Livonia Men’s Over-30 Hockey for many years. It is no surprise that he is a big supporter of synchronized skating, where his daughter had a passion. She skated on the synchronized teams for over ten years in the area.
