About Joseph W. Lasnoski, DDS
Joseph Lasnoski, DDS, MS, is a highly experienced prosthodontist and the director of Bay Lakes Center for Complex Dentistry. He serves as the architect for all restorative work, detecting any dental problems you may have before designing a comprehensive and effective treatment plan that utilizes the latest in cosmetic, prosthetic and implant dentistry. My passion is working with people, and I thrive on seeing the transformation that happens when my patients smile to show off their newly restored teeth. I like the detective work involved in determining the cause of specific dental problems. And I especially like the challenge of designing a treatment plan that ensures I see every patient smile. I was the son of a first generation American who left school after the 8th grade. He worked long hours so I could go to college, and I made sure I didn't let him down. After two years of college, I was accepted into dental school where I found I had a real knack for clinical and prosthetic dentistry. After graduation, I became the only student to be accepted that year for Marquette University's 3-year graduate program in prosthodontics, which combined classwork, clinical training and teaching. To help support myself, I also worked two nights a week and Saturdays as a general dentist in an inner-city clinic. When I finished my training, I opened my practice in Green Bay in 1978 with the help of my wife Robin, a dental hygienist and mother of our two wonderful sons. Together we developed a team of dedicated professionals, who share our philosophy that the patient's comfort always comes first. I am proud of the fact that 90% of our staff has been with us for over 15 years. In what is one of the most challenging and precise dental specialties, having like-minded associates who understand and support each other is critical to the success of our dental treatments. Prosthodontics gives me the opportunity to combine science, medicine and artistry to make a meaningful difference in other people's lives. While I treat all restorative issues, I specialize in treating the more complex cases that put my extensive training, continuing education and 30 years of experience to the test.
