About Joseph Gargano, DMD
Dr. Gargano has practiced dentistry in North Haven, CT since 1980. He received his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. While there he received the Academy of General Dentistry Dental Student Award and the American Academy of Oral Pathology Dental Student Award. Dr. Gargano is an adjunct clinical faculty member at the UConn School of Dental Medicine where he was also President of the Dental Alumni Association board. Dr. Gargano’s professional affiliations include membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the CT State Dental Association, and the New Haven Dental Association. Dr. Gargano’s commitment to dental wellness in the town of North Haven spans all ages. He is a dental consultant to the North Haven Community Day Care Center as well as consultant to several area extended care facilities. Dr. Gargano participates in foreign dental mission work providing dental services to the underserved in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He also is a participant in the CT Mission of Mercy held annually at various locations across Connecticut. In his spare time, Dr. Gargano enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, and swimming.
