About Joseph M. Dalbon, DMD
Having been raised in West Caldwell and North Caldwell gives Dr. DalBon firm roots in the communities that he now supports and serves. Dr. DalBon, is a 1992 graduate of The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, UPenn is widely regarded a one of the top dental schools in the world. Dr. DalBon received the Certificate of Merit from The American Society of Dentistry For Children in 1992. He completed a general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in 1993. While there, Dr. DalBon received advanced training in all phases of general dentistry, as well as in the management of severe facial trauma and full mouth reconstruction. In 2001, Dr. DalBon was awarded a Fellowship by The Academy of General Dentistry, an award received by less than 3% of dentists. In 2002 he received advanced implant training during a mini-residency at Rutgers Dental School. Dr. DalBon received his Certificate of Proficiency in Er:YSGG lasers from the World Clinical Laser Institute and in CO2 and diode lasers the Academy of Laser Dentistry in 2009. In 2012, Dr. DalBon received his Certificate of Proficiency in Er:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers from the Academy Of Clinical Laser Technology. Dr. DalBon is one of the only dentist in the state of New Jersey trained to use Er:YAG, Nd:YAG, Er:YSGG, CO2 and diode lasers for both hard and soft tissue treatment.
