About Jorge Rico, DDS
Dr. Rico grew up in the Sacramento area in the small town of Dixon, CA. His small-town values drive his belief in quality, affordable dental care. After graduating from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry, Dr. Rico received his dental training at UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating in 2000 with numerous awards. After completing his D.D.S. degree, Dr. Rico spent many years enhancing his skills in all phases of dentistry while in private practice in Pasadena, CA. Under the guidance of very skilled and experienced dentists, he continued to learn and develop his passion for cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. Dr. Rico brings both practical knowledge from years of performing cosmetic and restorative procedures, and the ability and desire to stay at the forefront of oral health advances to his Elk Grove practice. The moment you step into his office, you will notice that it is Dr. Rico’s top priority to listen and understand your needs and concerns. Dr. Rico is committed on staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry. He continues taking various educational courses taught by leading experts at multiple learning centers, which far exceeds all requirements for continuing education. He is an alumnus of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Rico is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Rico resides in Elk Grove with his wife, Rina, and their three children: Andres, Adriana, and Viviana. Dr. Rico enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends.
