About John D. Rachel, MD
John Rachel, MD, FACS is a plastic surgeon with an impressive body of experience, currently practicing at SkinMD, with locations in Chicago, Orland Park, Skokie, and Evergreen Park, Illinois. He holds board certification in otolaryngology, facial plastic surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Rachel is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A strong belief in the power of education motivated Dr. Rachel from an early age. He began his undergraduate work at Michigan State University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He then earned his medical degree, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha, from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Medical skills are expanded through mentorship opportunities, and Dr. Rachel is proud to have trained with the former president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. William Beeson. He strives to play a similar role in helping others expand their body of skill and experience through his practice at SkinMD. Dr. Rachel performs many of the more involved surgical procedures available at SkinMD. His extensive training allows him to select the most technologically advanced tools and techniques available to help patients achieve their greatest aesthetic potential.
