About John F. Caccamese, DMD
Dr. Caccamese returns to Maryland from the University of Pittsburgh where he completed a fellowship in cleft, craniofacial and pediatric maxillofacial surgery. In addition to trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, and craniofacial reconstruction, Dr. Caccamese maintains a clinical focus on the care of the pediatric patient. This includes the reconstruction of congenital facial anomalies, cleft lip and palate, pediatric trauma, pediatric pathology and orthognathic surgery. Apart from his appointment at the dental school, Dr. Caccamese also serves on the UM Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute's cleft and craniofacial team. Dr. Caccamese is committed to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as on a local and national level. He lives in the Baltimore area with his wife and children.
