About Jin Y. Maeng, DMD
Dr. Maeng graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Neuroscience with honors. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the prestigious IVY league schools in the country. While in dental school he did an oral surgery externships at the York Hospital and the VA Hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Maeng is very passionate about his profession and he loves dentistry. He has completed continuing education courses in implantology, orthodontics, and endodontics. He is certified in Invisalign®️ clear removable aligners. He also devotes many hours in reading dental journals and publications in all aspects of dentistry. He is a member of Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Maeng resides in Chicago with his lovely wife, Jeannie, and their two sons Leo and Roy. When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Maeng enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf, watching movies, and running. He has participated in the Chicago Triathlon since 2015 and his hope is to participate with his two kids when they grow up.
