I have truly loved every minute that I have been a dentist! It completely fulfills me to be around my amazing team and wonderful patients. I am a people person and love that I spend my days interacting with my patients while taking care of them as well. It’s so important for me to get to know my patients in order to learn about their expectations for their smile and their oral health. This helps us create a relationship founded on mutual trust that will instill loyalty and be long lasting! We want patients to feel like part of our family, where we genuinely care about them as more than just a patient. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to work in healthcare. I worked as a dental assistant in high school and really loved the hands-on approach to patient care, as well as the artistic component. The rest, as they say, is history! I attended the University of Southern California and received my Bachelor of Arts in biologicI pride myself on my amazing team! They are all dedicated, loyal, kind and warm. We have two girls: Lexi, who is headed to college in the fall, and Kylie, who will start high school. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our dog Pringle. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy working out, travelling, spending time outside, and reading. For over two years now, I have been a brand ambassador for Rodan + Fields, which is the number-one skincare brand in North America and also globally represented in other countries. While my long-time passion has been and still very much is dentistry, this new opportunity allows me to help my patients, friends, and family on an even bigger scale! I find that I look at mouths all day and the surrounding skin is just a natural extension to your teeth and smile! Prevention is so important in dentistry, which is why we stress regular visits to identify potential problems early, as well as being able to detect oral abnormalities and thereby help to prevent dental catastrophes and possible oral cancer. Prevention is also a huge part of Rodan + Fields, as sunscreen for both face and body are a big part of why the founding dermatologists have seen such success in this business as well as their private dermatology practices. This is my second passion and a natural extension of being a dentist! I enjoy giving back to the community and being part of organizations that do so much for Bellaire as well as the surrounding Houston area. I am a lifetime member of National Council of Jewish Women and a volunteer committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.al sciences. I continued on to the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, where I graduated as valedictorian receiving the coveted Walter G. Sterling Award for Excellence. I stayed on at UT-affiliated Hermann Hospital to complete a prestigious general practice residency program. As a member of Spear Education and local study clubs, I’ve been able to elevate my clinical and patient skills. This allows me to continually rediscover my passion for dentistry, which has helped me transform my practice and the lives of my patients! Continuing my education also enables me to stay on top of the latest and greatest in products, technology, and techniques. Of course, all of this benefits my patients!
