About Jessica B. Dietert, MD
Dr. Jessica (Nikki) Dietert is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Dr. Dietert is a native Texan and completed medical school and residency in-state. Dr. Dietert is trained to treat a wide array of skin disorders as a medical dermatologist. She also completed an extra year of training in the areas of surgical oncology and Mohs surgery, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. In her spare time Dr. Dietert enjoys travel, live music, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Dietert’s main area of interest is the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. She is trained in Mohs Micrographic surgery, a unique technique utilized in-office to remove skin cancer, as well as surgical reconstruction following Mohs surgery. She also has advanced training in an array of cosmetic procedures, including the injection of neurotoxins and filler, and laser surgery. Dr. Dietert attended The University of Tulsa, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. During her undergraduate time, she also studied abroad at the University of College Cork in Cork, Ireland. She then received her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor’s Society. She subsequently completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center and Dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston/MD Anderson where she served as chief resident and cosmetic training coordinator during her final year. Dr. Dietert then completed a year-long fellowship program in Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Dietert is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Texas Dermatological Society. She was also elected a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society during medical school. She has numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
