About Jerry Dunn, DDS
Dr. Dunn graduated from Abilene Christian University and went on to complete his dental studies at Baylor College of Dentistry. An active supporter of education, Dr. Dunn believes that you should never stop learning. He participates in continuing education activities regularly in order to stay current with advances in dentistry. His involvement with numerous professional organizations provides ample opportunities for continued studies. Dr. Dunn has been honored by the Irving Chamber of Commerce as the Best Dentist in Irving each year since 2011. He was named one of D Magazine’s Best Dentists in 2015. If you ask him, though, his greatest honor is being trusted with the dental health of Irving families. As a lifelong Texan, Dr. Dunn values his involvement in the Irving community. Dr. Dunn and his wife, Connie are active members of the Irving Bible Church and volunteer in support of the Irving Symphony League, Irving Healthcare Foundation, Irving Lyric Stage, and Irving Theater Guild. In addition to supporting local endeavors, the Dunn dental family is actively involved in the Crown Council, an association of dentists who are committed to education, excellence in dentistry and charitable giving. Through the Crown Council, Dr. Dunn and his team participate in one of dentistry’s biggest charity drives each year- the Smiles for Life event. From March through June each year, Dr. Dunn and his team offer professional teeth whitening in exchange for a donation of $99. Because 100% of the proceeds go to children’s charities, the opportunity to make a big impact is great. A native of San Antonio, TX, Dr. Dunn has called Irving his home for the past 41 years. He and his wife, Connie have four children, Brent, Chelsa, Natalie, and Taylor, and a gaggle of grandchildren. Spending time with family and enjoying the grandchildren keep the Dunn’s busy. They enjoy going to movies, finding new and delicious restaurants to try, and spending time in their garden. During his free time, Dr. Dunn enjoys fishing and sailing on his boat with Connie and their dog.
