About Jeffrey D. O’Connell, DMD

Jeff is excited to welcome you to a fabulous dental experience! The minute you walk through the door, you will know you’ve come to the right place! Our office’s warm, comforting atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as the latest technological advances in modern dentistry will have you feeling confident in your care and proud of your healthy, beautiful smile! Jeff earned his doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997 and completed a very rare postdoctoral residency in prosthodontics (the study of tooth replacement and full-mouth reconstruction) in 2000. He moved to Connecticut in 2001 and worked as an associate dentist in East Haven before purchasing Dr. Richard Lund’s practice in Bridgeport in 2008. After many successful years at that lovely home office, Jeff was thrilled to be able to accomplish his dream of building out a brand new office and moved to the center of Fairfield in August 2015. His new, state-of-the-art office is equipped with the latest technology in advanced dental care and he and the staff are diligent about keeping up with continuing education courses. Jeff recently served as the President of the Bridgeport Dental Association and is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and a member of the Faculty Club at the Spear Center for Dentistry in Arizona.
