About Jean-Paul Chavez, DDS
Dr. Jean-Paul Chavez grew up in Miami and attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory High School. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Florida International University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Maryland. He then successfully completed a one year post-graduate advanced training in general dentistry at Nova Southeastern University. Upon completion, Dr. Chavez joined his mentor and long-time friend, Dr. Garcia, at his well-established Coral Gables practice. Dr. Chavez is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys staying current with the latest developments in dentistry. He has a passion for teaching and enjoys giving lectures at nearby elementary schools about the importance of dental health. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, traveling, playing golf and following his favorite University of Miami football and basketball teams.
