About J.D. Robison, DDS
For Dr. Robison, dentistry is literally in his blood. His grandfather started the practice back in the 1940s, and in the 1970s, his father took over. After initially wanting to be an engineer, he worked at the family practice for a summer and ended up absolutely loving it. He found that just like his father and grandfather, he likes talking to people and being able to solve their problems in a very personalized way. Dr. Robison studied at Purdue University, University of Michigan and University of Detroit Mercy. As a testament to his dedication, he’s also completed the core curriculum at the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies. He's taken a lot of postgraduate training in advanced aesthetic reconstruction, allowing him the opportunity to transform someone’s smile through the use of veneers and crowns. His extensive training in orthodontics enables him to offer his patients many options, including Invisalign and traditional braces for both adults and children. He has taken hundreds of hours of training to diagnose and treat the complicated nature of jaw joint disorders, and he is very excited about the many new advances for those who suffer from chronic headaches and migraines. Through his training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute, Dr. Robison is able to utilize specialized neuromuscular techniques to help relieve or eliminate years of pain and stress for our patients. His additional focuses include extended education in complex restorative dentistry, dental implants, and sedation (sleep) dentistry. He is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE), International Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (IACA), and the North American Neuromuscular Study Club. Away from the office, Dr. Robison is all about spending time with his family, which includes his wife and their young son and daughter. He also loves the outdoors, so most weekends, you’ll find him skiing, snowmobiling, camping, hiking, or riding his dirt bike. He also likes to travel to the Smoky Mountains, or out west in Utah and explore the trails in Colorado.
