About Jason Litak
Dr. Jason Litak was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego, and earned his medical degree from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles. He was chief resident in dermatology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. After residency he went on to complete a rigorous fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery (only 70 such fellowships exist). With his advanced skin cancer and surgical training, Dr. Litak performs all of the Mohs procedures and many of the skin excisions for our group. He has an expertise in the early detection of skin cancer using the newest technology of dermoscopy and regularly participates in conferences on this rapidly progressing technique. In addition, Dr. Litak practices comprehensive general dermatology and stays current with the dermatology literature. He prides himself on focusing on real medical dermatology and his passion is for providing compassionate evidence-based medical care for his patients.
