About James S. Peterson, DDS
Dr. James Peterson is an experienced dentist who is proud to serve residents of Coppell, TX and the surrounding areas. With a dedication to providing exceptional patient care, he likes to get to know each patient in the practice on a one-on-one basis in order to help them achieve their desired smile. Utilizing advanced technology and dental techniques, Dr. Peterson is able to provide effective treatment options for both improved aesthetic appearance and functionality. Through general, cosmetic, restorative, and advanced dental treatments, Dr. Peterson works to understand the unique needs of his patients in order to fully restore and enhance the look and health of his patients' smiles. As a part of cosmetic dentistry, he provides teeth whitening, veneers, and several orthodontic treatment options. Dr. Peterson also performs dental exams, tooth-colored fillings, and a variety of restorative treatments, including dental crowns, implants, and bridges. With advanced dental options, he can offer treatments for TMD, as well as sedation dentistry. As a technology “junkie,” Dr. Peterson uses all of the latest dental technology at his practice, including lasers, CEREC technology for chair-side restorations (same-day dentistry), digital radiography, and intraoral cameras. Dr. Peterson believes that ""having the latest technology allows us to provide exceptional care, fantastic looking restorations, and makes the experience way more comfortable for the patient."" Dr. Peterson studied at Baylor University in Waco, TX and continued his dental education at Texas A&M University System Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He attends over 30 hours of continuing education each year, including at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute, the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, CERECdoctors.com, and with DOCS Education. Additionally, he has studied under top instructors David Galler, Bill Strupp, Frank Spear, Mark Morin, and Bill Dickerson. Dr. Peterson is also proud to be a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners. In his free time, Dr. Peterson loves to spend time with his family and travel. He also enjoys watching football, playing the guitar, visiting a good restaurant, and hitting the gym.
