About James J. Orman, MD
You may be searching for a physician with the education and interest particular to your health issue/problem and this may be your first visit to my home page or perhaps we have already met and have started to forge a mutually respectful doctor-patient relationship. In either case, the purpose of My Doctor Online is to facilitate a convenient dialogue between you and your health team and provide you with pertinent medical information distinctively for you. My Doctor Online has been developed so you can e-mail me, check your lab results, make an appointment, access our many online programs or get information about a particular health topic - any time it's convenient for you. I first found my way to Northern California when I attended Santa Clara University and received my degree in Biology. I left the Silicon Valley and went to Washington D.C. where I studied and received my Medical Degree at Georgetown University in 1998. I ventured to the Pacific Northwest after medical school and completed a full general surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated as Chief Resident. I received my Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship training at the Lahey Clinic, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Children's Hospital in Boston Massachusetts and returned to Northern California when I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005. In October 2010, I became the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Kaiser Permanente- Santa Clara.
