About James Oh, DDS
Dr. Oh is a California native. Born and raised in Southern California, he graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry, and is a second generation dentist. He chose this career because it fulfills his two greatest passions: science and art. He raised his family on the Monterey Peninsula and spent 20 years practicing in Carmel and Monterey. Dr. Oh has seen the benefits of technology as he was an adopter of cad/cam dentistry in the late 1990s. It has always been his mission to treat patients with minimally invasive procedures. He has co-authored an article in Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, a national dental publication. He got his post graduate training at Spear Education, the Los Angeles Institute of Clinical Dentistry, Rondeau Seminars, Implant Fellowship from the California Implant Institute, Implant Mastership from the ICOI, Chao Pinhole Academy, and the Garg Implant Seminars. He has been affiliated with the Seattle Study Club, Spear Study Club, ADA, CDA, MBDS, ADIA, ICOI, DOCS, AAFE, and AzDA. In his spare time, Dr. Oh enjoys golf, tennis, snow skiing, playing the piano, and composing. He believes that practicing dentistry is a privilege because it gives him the opportunity to see the joy of transformed lives. He is blessed to have a beautiful and talented wife and two lovely daughters. He is proud to make Scottsdale their home.
