About James T. Bowman, DDS
Dr. Bowman attended Bucknell University where he graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He went on to The State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned his Dental Degree in 1982. He went into the U.S. Navy where he served as for 3 years prior to coming to Stamford in 1985 to begin his private practice. Dr. Bowman has been married to his wife Donna for over 30 years. Donna is an APRN and works at The Stamford Hospital. They have two children, Timothy and Katie. Timothy graduated from Penn State University and is an accountant working in Stamford. Katie graduated from Elon University and is employed by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Dr. Bowman enjoys playing golf and woodworking in his spare time. Dr. Bowman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry which requires over 500 hours of continuing education to achieve. He is a certified Invisalign Provider and has been treating cases since 2006. He attends numerous study clubs to further his knowledge of Invisalign treatment and the restoration of dental implants. Dr. Bowman and his staff provide individualized, high quality dental care with compassion and respect.
