About Irene T. Theodore, DDS
Dr. Irene T Theodore founded her dental practice in 1987. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School and was the recipient of the of the International College Of Dentists award of distinction. She was later a clinical professor of fixed prosthodontics at Northwestern University Dental School, until it closed. In pursuit of excellence, education never ceases. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Theodore has earned countless hours of continuing education credits, taking courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as temporomandibular joint dysfunction and implantology. Dr. Theodore has also had the opportunity to collaborate with other dentists and medical specialists. She was a consultant for a scuba company to improve the mouthpiece on a snorkel and currently consults with a cleft palate team to coordinate and complete the restorative dental care for cleft palate patients. As a part of her commitment to her patients, Dr. Theodore frequently produces educational materials on subjects which range from eliminating bad breath to implant dental procedures. It is through this informative and open approach that each patient can successfully make informed decisions to achieve and maintain their healthy smile. Dr. Theodore's office maintains a 10 year tradition of implementing charity drives for Misericordia, an organization which helps people with developmental disabilities. Dr. Theodore is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Hellenic Dental Society.
