About Ifepo O. Sofola, MD
Dr. Ifepo Sofola joined Allergy & ENT Associates in July 2010. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Sofola received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. He completed both his internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Sofola’s fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery was completed at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. He then served as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the National Naval Medical Center. In addition to numerous military and academic awards, Dr. Sofola received recognition by his peers and mentors with a prestigious achievement award presented by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for service to humanity and the advancement of the specialty. Dr. Ifepo Sofola brings with him a wealth of experience and a warm, caring heart. He serves on several humanitarian committees with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and brings value to our staff in the care of our patients.
