About Gretel L. Viera, DDS
Dr. Gretel L Viera was born in Cuba into a family where she learned the values of dedication, sacrifice and humanity. In 1995, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Stomatology (DDS) and was awarded a certificate of Prosthodontic Instructor as a result of her outstanding academic performance. Dr. Viera had the opportunity to be part of the Internationally Educated Dentists Program at University of Florida in Gainesville, obtaining her State License in May 2009, and a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Viera is actually The Assistant Director and Clinical Assistant Professor for University of Florida at the AEGD Residency in Seminole. As part of her duties at the College od Dentistry Dr. Viera also practices at All Children’s and St. Antony’s Hospitals where she takes care of special needs patients. Dr. Viera has the proficiency to perform Comprehensive Oral Evaluations, trained at The Dawson Academy. Skilled with complex treatment plans involving placement and restoration of dental implants, evaluation and treatment of occlusal problems, medically compromised patients and also bi-lingual speaker (Spanish and English), are among others her most outstanding qualifications.
