About Greg Winter, DDS
Dr. Greg Winter grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland and graduated from Mt. Hebron High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland College Park, double majoring in Neurobiology and Psychology. He earned his Doctorate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2010. After dental school, Dr. Greg completed two residency programs in general dentistry: one at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and the second at York Hospital in York, PA. In these residency programs, Dr. Greg gained additional training in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and esthetics. When not at Light Street Dental, Dr. Greg works as a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He teaches dental students and is an attending in a number of clinics including Special Care and Geriatrics, Urgent Care, and the Oral Surgery clinic. Dr. Greg strives to create a welcoming environment for all patients and wants to help them regain and maintain their dental health. A dentist’s work is as unique as a personal signature and Dr. Greg works hard to give every patient his very best. Currently, Dr. Greg lives in Federal Hill where you may see him going to trivia, rooting for the Orioles, Terps and Ravens, or sampling various restaurants around South Baltimore. He also enjoys reading, music, reading and the beach.
