About Gerald T. Miyamoto, DDS
Dr. Miyamoto graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences in 1995, and attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. He has many years of experience in a variety of volunteer programs. For two years, Dr. Miyamoto helped start the Docs Ought To Care Volunteer Program in Los Angeles, focusing on preventative dentistry for elementary school level children. USC Dentist Dr. Miyamoto has also served with the USC Mobile Dental Clinic which travels to underserved areas of California to provide free dental work to less fortunate children. A native San Diegan, Dr. Miyamoto likes to spend his spare time outdoors playing golf, tennis, and skiing with his family.
