About George Ambus, DDS
Dr. George Ambus is a native San Franciscan and has enjoyed practicing dentistry for over 25 years. He became interested in dentistry as an undergraduate while majoring in physiology at UC Berkeley. Being an avid car enthusiast since his teenage years, dentistry gave him the opportunity to combine his two passions for science and mechanics. Dentistry is both a science and art. Dr. Ambus has an eye for aesthetic detail and a passion for restoration. His career enables him to combine the rigors of the scientific practice of dentistry with the talent for creating a beautiful smile. Dr. Ambus loves having the ability to transform his patients and make a difference in their lives. Dr. Ambus attended UCSF Dental School and specializes in cosmetic, preventative, and general dentistry. Being active in sports fitness Dr. Ambus also holds many positions as team dentist for local professional sports teams and colleges. When he’s not in the office you can find Dr. Ambus running one of the many beautiful trails in the bay area or spending time with his family and friends.
