About Gary Treinkman, DDS
Dr. Treinkman established the East Village Dental Centre in 1980. He received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and is a 1978 graduate of the Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Treinkman is committed to excellence in Dentistry and has extensive training in all aspects of General and Cosmetic Dentistry. His involvement with many dental organizations such as the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the local Cerec Study Club has enabled him to keep on top of the latest and best that Dentistry has to offer. He regularly attends courses that enables him to stay on the cutting of edge of the rapidly changing field of dentistry. Dr. Treinkman’s advanced training and certification in Emergency dentistry, dental lasers, the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, the pinhole surgical technique, all on 4 teeth in a day, and one visit dentistry utilizing Cerec has made him one of the most sought after professionals in the Midwest. He has also become an expert in all types of dental emergencies and the practice routinely handles emergencies within a couple of hours of the patient’s call. Though proficient in all areas of general dentistry, he maintains a special interest in the area of Cosmetic Dentistry, which involves creating a natural and visually pleasing effect using the latest restorative materials and procedures to restore or enhance the teeth and smile. Additionally, Dr. Treinkman’s expertise in oral surgery enables him to perform dental implant procedures from start to finish so his patients can receive a surgical and restorative treatment at the center without the need to visit multiple specialists. Dr. Treinkman’s goal is to instill confidence in his patients by improving their smile, eliminating pain and infection, and restoring their mouth to full function with various alternatives that fit within the patient’s budget. He consistently receives rave reviews from his patients about the overall superior quality of the East Village Dental Centre in Chicago. Dr. Treinkman gives back to the community by volunteering his time with the Illinois Foundation for Handicapped Dentistry. He has led a group of Dental Students from the University of Pittsburgh to a Dental Service trip in the Dominican Republic for years. He enjoys tennis, cycling, skiing, reading and spending time with his family.
