About Frederica C. Green, Aesthetician Specialist
Frederica's Desert Skin Care was founded by Frederica C. Green on March 1, 1999 and has been at same Green Valley location since. Both local and seasonal residents have received Frederica graciously, and have become loyal, long-standing clients seeking the finest in facial skincare treatment services. Frederica graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles in English Literature in 1991. She then attended the James Albert School of Cosmetology in Orange County, California where she graduated in April, 1996. She gained her first position as a Licensed Aesthetician with a resort spa in Calistoga, Napa Valley, California where she was employed for almost a year. During that period she continued her post-graduate education with the International Dermal Institute in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. When she moved to Southern Arizona in 1998 with her new husband, she gained her Arizona License and continued post-graduate education at the International Dermal Institute's Scottsdale location. During the years Frederica has continued her quest for knowledge from prestigious international educators in both Europe and the United States. She holds Aesthetic Licenses in both Arizona and California. She works with and offers four premier skincare lines in her practice: Dr. Grandel and Phyris from Augsburg, Germany, Glo Therapeutics from Denver, Colorado, and Gunilla of Sweden. Additionally, she has been a partner with Glo Minerals Make-Up since 2008, having received her initial mineral make-up training with Diane Ranger, the recognized Mother of Mineral Make-Up, in 2000. Frederica's offers a full range of micronized mineral make-up and sun care products that are sold exclusively through premier skincare salons and resort spas, as well as dermatology, medical spa and cosmetic surgeon practices.
