About Forrest J. Filippi, DMD
Forrest J. Filippi is a graduate of Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine. He was selected for one of forty-six positions available to eight hundred and fifty-six applicants to be commissioned as a Captain in the General Residency Program of the United States Air Force, stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Filippi received extensive training in all areas of General Dentistry with special training in Oral Surgery and Orthodontics during his residency. In 1989, he relocated to open his present practice in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Filippi is an active member of the Arizona Dental Association (AZDA) and the International Association of Orthodontics. He is Board Certified in Oral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Filippi has been a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul dental clinic for over 10 years providing dental treatment to the less fortunate. Dr. Filippi continues his education with postgraduate courses to provide his patients with the latest techniques and material dentistry has available. Areas of focus have been on Cosmetics Dentistry, Smile Designs, Comprehensive Reconstruction and Implants. Dr. Filippi has taken and continues to take extensive courses with Las Vegas Institute, Innovative Aesthetic Solutions and Creative Restorative Excellences of Seattle.
