About Filiberto C. Laurent, MD
Dr. Cedeno Laurent is an Ivy-League trained dermatologist with extensive expertise in cutaneous oncology, complex medical and cosmetic dermatology using surgical and non-surgical methods. After obtaining his medical degree from Escuela de Medicina Ignacio A. Santos (Monterrey, Mexico), Dr. Cedeno Laurent joined the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland to pursue a post-doctoral research fellowship on HIV-related skin conditions. He became so passionate about the role of the immune system in the development of skin disorders that he became the first Mexican national to receive a doctorate degree in Immunology at Harvard Medical School.
