About Fariba Farrokhi, DMD
Dr. Farrokhi studied Biochemistry at Rutgers University before applying to dental school. She is a graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she received several awards including the Women Dentist Award and the Prosthodontic Honor Society Award. She continued her education by completing a residency program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she has been a member of Restorative and TMD/Orofacial pain departments since 2007. She was appointed as the Associate Director of Temporomandibular Disorders/ Orofacial Pain at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in 2016. Dr. Farrokhi believes strongly in continuing education and received the prestigious Mastership award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2014 after completing 1100 hours of continuing education courses.
