About Erin K. Burns, MD
Dr. Erin Burns joined Illinois Dermatology Institute in August 2016. She is a board-certified Dermatologist practicing medical, surgical and cosmetic Dermatology. She has clinical interests in both adult and pediatric Dermatology, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, women's Dermatology, allergic skin disease as well as skin cancer screening, prevention and management. Dr. Burns received her medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honors society and earned awards for her academic achievements. She completed her internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL and then went on to complete Dermatology residency training at Saint Louis University.
